How does a plasma pen treatment work?

The innovative method is based on unique plasma technology. Plasma is a cloud of charged particles that, like a micrometer, can remove excess skin without damaging the dermis. With the correct arrangement of the plasma dots, excess skin is tightened. This process continues for weeks after the treatment, as new collagen fibers are created. After the treatment, small micro scabs remain which the skin releases and they last for 5-7 days.

What are the advantages of a plasma treatment?

There is no cutting, nor scarring, and there’s no bleeding or bruises. The results are permanent and visible immediately. It is done under a local anesthetic for a painless treatment.

What are the side effects of a plasma pen treatment?

After the scabs are released by the skin, it can become gently pink and cause feelings of tightness. There can be swelling around the area of the eyes, as well.

Who shouldn't do a plasma treatment?

We do not advise plasma pen treatments for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as people affected by dermatitis, acute skin infections, moles and autoimmune illnesses.

Can you tell me about after care of a plasma pen treatment?

Epithelialization lasts approximately 6 weeks. With proper home care, the result is enhanced even more. SPF 50 is mandatory & the treatment can be repeated in 3-5 months, if necessary.
